. PUMPING CAPABILITIES
Normally, a sub-base tank is filled from a delivery truck "hose filling" fuel directly
into the tank. It is possible to install a pumping system to bring fuel from a main
storage tank to the sub-base tank.
When equipped with a pump, motor and a set of controls, the sub-base tank takes
on the duties similar to that of a day tank with most control capabilities (see the
Options section). The pump, motor and controls may be directly mounted on the
sub-base tank or as a remote pumping unit (option #397).
